Printmaking workshop with Basil Hall Editions

On the weekend 14th and 15th May 2011, members of DVAA took part in a two day printing making workshop at the Basil Hall Editions studio with the master printer Basil Hall himself.

DVAA members spent the two days learning a variety of techniques in dry point and etching.

Some participants worked on multiple plates while others focused on pushing the one plate in many different directions, using different tools to create marks, aqua tint to create tone or

sugar lift to add depth and layering.
